Guru Brahmanand Women College is a premier institution for woman’s higher education in Kurana. The college gained the status of a degree college and got affiliated to KUK University.
With twelve UG and ten PG programmes in Arts faculty, UG & PG in Commerce, accommodating more than 3000 students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, the College marches ahead towards the realization of its goals and objectives of uplifting the rural and urban background students educationally, morally and socially. Nine Departments of Arts faculty have Ph.D. programme also. The faculty is experienced and well qualified. The staff and the students toil hard to achieve even the unachievable. The college makes a continuous internal assessment of its students through such practices as, class-room written tests, half yearly exams and departmental seminars followed by the final university examinations.
